Reasons Mallory Hates Large Amounts Of Snow:
1. Snow is icky
2. It snows ONCE all winter and then it decides on March 1st it will snow 12 inches? i think not.
3. It's JOSH NIGHT, the predicted travel conditions will prevent laura and i from fully enjoying it because we won't be able to go to ames.
4. It's Friday...why can't it snow on SUNDAY night so we can miss school on monday? By monday all the snow will be gone. okay, that's probably not true but still.
5. I'm supposed to go to grundy center to visit my puppy tomorrow. What if the roads are too icky? i would cry!
6. Although I did survive the slickest night of the year, i do not especially enjoy driving in immense amounts of snow...not to mention blizzard conditions.
In case you managed not to figure it out...we're expecting a lot of snow tonight. i don't care if it snows as long as i get to see my puppy. and it would be nice if it waited until 11 or 12 tonight to get bad because laura and i want to go to ames. mi madre probably won't let me because of the weather forecast. as you read above, i'm not big on driving in the snow but i could brave it. now we might have to restrict ourselves to staying in town. boo to that.
i guess i'll wait till tomorrow to worry about seeing the puppy. my mom is pretty crazy, she'll drive in anything. so i figure chances of seeing the puppy are pretty large at the moment. so far it's only snowed like half an inch, but it's really windy. no problems driving home from school though.
i'm finally getting the caffeine i've needed desperately all day. i don't know why i was so tired today, but i was. so now i'm having some frappuccino. yay for frappucino! i hope it wakes me up a bit. i wish morpheus would work! blaaaah.
