ugh i'm such a slacker. this weekend i've been amusing myself with a few graduation parties and whatnot. next weekend there are a TON. including mine. THAT should be interesting.
in a little bit i'm leaving to pick up laura...w'ere going shopping in ames. tim's party is tonight so i doubt we'll be there too terribly long. oh hey. jim's graduation party is today too. if i wouldn't have had the sudden urge to check my email i never would have known. he says EVERYONE is invited. so if you're in town, you can come too. moving on.
i went to see star wars again on friday. it was a happy thing. not as happy as last weekend when i saw it at merle hay and the screen was huge and the sound was cool, but still happy. i think we might go to fazoli's today. i don't think i could be in a town with a fazoli's and NOT go to fazoli's. i suppose it *has* happened in the past but not often. ;) stacie and i sometimes go to ames JUST for fazoli's. well, we find other stuff to do while we're there but our main purpose is to go to fazoli's.
i want the university of iowa to send me my dorm assignment because i realllllly want to be in mayflower and i might cry if i'm not. it's the biggest building AND it's a bit far away from the rest of campus so i'm hoping i got my application sent in soon enough that i'll be able to make it in. i really want it because the rooms are sooo much better and there's air conditioning and every room shares a kitchen and bathroom with one other room...as opposed to an entire floor or whatever...and there's all sorts of fun stuff in it since it's a few blocks away from everything it has it's own store and coffee shop and whatnot.
ahhh i need to remember to fill out my mcfarland clinic application today. i won't get the job because i'd have to take a medical terminology class and blah blah blah. but that's okay. at least i can say i tried, right? ;)
i haven't gone to tropical sno yet this year. last night stacie called me with happy tropical sno news...we have TWO now! isn't that exciting? last night laura, emily and i decided to go around town and take pictures of ourselves in interesting places or by landmarks and whatnot. i'm looking forward to seeing the one of laura driving a bulldozer with me in the little thingy that the dirt goes into. uhm...yeah. now i'm going to go. adios
