yay. i just got back from laura's new year's party. it was pretty amusing. it's fun to watch tim's subtle attempts at hitting on laura. ha.
omg it's sooo cold out...i had my contacts case thingy in my purse and it was so cold that during the car ride home the solution inside FROZE! that's just crazy. but anyway.
today i went to des moines with my mom and my brother. didn't get anything, but it was something to do.
i hate staying up this late, it throws me off. i don't like being thrown off. and it's really icky that technically i have to go to school tomorrow. :( boo. i'm enjoying not having school. *surprise, surprise* no one's on icq. i don't know why i'm not tired. actually the problem is i'm so tired that i'm hyper. happens to me often. i haven't eaten in like 12 hours, i'm so hungry my stomach hurts. but there's nothing to eat so i probably won't. ;)
*yeah baby you're the right kind of wrong* emily liked moulin rouge. today i was attempting to explain the plot to m...oh my good god, nate is on icq! i am not alone in the world! as i was saying, i was trying to explain the plot to my mom because she just assumed that the whole thing was about "a whorehouse"...which it is, but not really. there IS one, but it's not the focus of the movie. yeah. brrrrr it's cold!!! :( :( :(
tonight beth poked herself in the eye and her contact popped out. it was fun. i want my twizzlers but they're upstairs where it's cold and i don't like being cold.
i got all the lord of the rings books. i was afraid i wouldn't like them just because of the way they're written but i started the hobbit and i'm doing okay with the language and whatnot. i'm already on page 17! lol it takes me a bit to get into books so that's quite the accomplishment. alright i gotta stop talking.
I can't imagine being awake at 3:40am. This is probably the last time I celebrated New Year's.
