okay my blog is being dumb and showing the old layout instead of the right background. blah. it did this last time too. i'll have to go mess with it.
More pointless updates...I guess I was concerned that my millions of viewers would try to visit my site, see things weren't quite right, and assume I was a moron whose website they should never visit again. Seems reasonable.
